Hi there, I'm Isaac an aspiring games designer with a focus on technical design and implementation. I am a current Computer Gameplay Design and Production Student at the University of Staffordshire.
I specialise in Unreal Engine with a focus on designing engaging systems, UI and gameplay mechanics. Unreal Engine allows me to produce the systems how I would like in a transferable manner given its emergence as an industry standard game engine.
I enjoy exploring the balance between narrative and gameplay design and believe that the game industry is at the frontier of storytelling. I aim to push the boundaries with my designs by producing layered and interconnected systems that explore how we interact with games, both individually and as a group.
As I grow as a designer I am looking forward to expanding my skillset, refining my existing skills and contributing to projects that push the medium to its limits.

Outside of work, I am an avid Sci-Fi and fantasy fan, with my latest obsession being the wonderful world of D&D, both as a player and, gradually, as a DM. I love creating my own worlds, characters, and stories and interacting with my friends in a new and interesting way.
Alongside this, I also love motorbikes, specifically Honda and believe there is no feeling of freedom quite like it.
Both of these hobbies build into my work due to my emphasis on player freedom and creativity, and letting them shape what they experience within a framework I provide with my work.
